The LSFSF98BT ATEX is a 98-litre undercounter freezer specifically engineered to support safe storage in sensitive environments making it ideal for pharmaceutical, laboratory and industrial applications.

The internal cavity of this unit is certified in accordance with ATEX Directive 2014/34/EU for use in Zone 2, Category 3 environments. This means it is suitable for areas where explosive atmospheres are unlikely during normal operation but may occur briefly and infrequently. All external components are classified as being in a non-hazardous (safe) area and therefore do not require ATEX compliance.

With a temperature range of -18°C to -25°C and a spark-free interior, the unit features a solid, reversible door with integrated lock and an anti-microbial powder-coated handle for added hygiene and security. A Bluetooth-enabled digital controller allows for contactless temperature monitoring and alarm history via the Lec Medical app. Audible and visual alarms, an air temperature probe, and a factory-fitted 16mm porthole support external monitoring and compliance.

Built with a durable painted steel exterior and a hygienic HIPS interior, the LSFSF98BT ATEX also includes flexible internal storage with adjustable shelves. It operates quietly at 41 dB and consumes just 0.56 kWh/24h, combining safety with energy efficiency.
